Research Engineer 2 (UNMTemps) REQ5150

UNMTemps, the University of New Mexico's internal temporary staffing department, seeks a

temporary Research Engineer 2 to join the Center for Water & the Environment.


This is a potential temp-to-regular opportunity, subject to the selected candidate’s performance

throughout the temporary assignment, in addition to the business needs of the hiring department.

Position Duties:

 Utilize engineering principles to design and test research methods related to asset management

and water loss reduction for water utilities nationwide.

 Coordinate research topics within our environmental specialty areas

 Take responsibility for independently completing research assignments that are part of a larger

projects’ scope of work

 Take responsibility for solely designing, coordinating, overseeing and completing complex

engineering sub-projects

 Take responsibility for making needed modifications to research protocols in order to complete

the work according to our clients’ needs.

Assignment Details:

Days & Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

Anticipated Start Date: TBD

Projected End Date: 12 months from the date of hire

Parking Arrangements: Responsibility of the selected employee

positions become available due to a vacancy, when regular employees are absent, for peak work

    Thank you very much for the sharing of the data of the university of Mexico. Most of the students of the university are linked with for the field of the research. I totally agree with the uploaded information for the students of the university of Mexico for the building of the blocks of the research and engineering in the same department for the fourth coming programs.
